I called my dad and had a whinge, which was nice. I also soaked my feet in my foot spa for an hour, exfoliated them, moisturised them and gave my feet a lil massage :D It was very nice to just have a day for me ^_^

Today I did another shave with the straight edge razor. It went a tad smoother (no pun intended), I missed a few spots here and there, and the tip of the chin was a tad difficult to perfectly shave, but I feel I've gotten a much better handle on the blade of death.
Could be my imagine, the method does seem to leave a smoother surface. And it's just a heck of a lot more satisfying in a strange way.
For all my fellow dudes and dudettes, I recommend giving it a go.

My poor little feet are tired from standing all week, and the skin on my lil toes is peeling. So I soaked my feet in my foot spa, exfoliated them, moisturised them and gave them a massage. It feels better, I will probably do this once a week.

Today I completed my standard rituals of self-care.

Additionally, between this post and my last, I finally had a chance to wash my car. Again, while not technically "self" care, it gave me pleasure/satisfaction in knowing the task was completed.

(Also, Past /\rty, imagination was the word you meant, idjit!)

I had some homemade food for breakfast and dinner. That always feels wholesome and much better than buying something :D

I took a walk on the beach. Poseidon cures all. I also did some writing! Maybe not the best, but I'm happy to write something at this point xD

I shampooed and conditioned my hair :D

Extremely disappointed with how tangly it was....like dude, it was bunned up 90% of the time...unless it's been going on nocturnal adventures without me xD

^hellz yeah! Treat yourself! :awesome:

I watched a brain candy video, the weekly kill count. It was nice coming home and vegging out, not stressing about going here or there and making sure this is done within such and such time restraint.

I prepped a bunch of food for next week, which takes the pressure off me later in the week.

I also exfoliated, epilated, moisturised, did a hair mask and used my pore vacuum. Pamper day!

I stayed behind to do some work for next week so that I don't need to worry about it at the weekend! And I did an interesting webinar that has given me some ideas! :D

I peeked at some scholarships today! Monday or Tuesday I'll plan to stop in at the college and see what the next steps are.

....if they're "open" anyway.
